Dar Al Wahi Publication operates this online bookshop from 1-37, PV 128, Jalan Genting Kelang, Danau Kota, 53300 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In this notice, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Dar Al Wahi Publication.
2. Personal data we collect
- Identity and contact details, including your name, email address, telephone number, billing information and delivery address.
- Order and service details, including titles purchased, quantities, price, shipping selection, order status, messages and support history.
- Payment status and gateway references returned by DOKU. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, online-banking password or e-wallet credentials.
- Technical and usage information such as IP address, device/browser information, pages viewed, cart actions and analytics events.
- Information submitted for wholesale enquiries, reviews, back-in-stock requests, surveys or promotions.
3. Why we process your data
- To create, take payment for, deliver and support your order.
- To verify transactions, prevent fraud, reconcile payments and manage refunds, disputes and chargebacks.
- To communicate order, delivery, account, safety and service updates.
- To respond to enquiries, provide customer support and maintain accurate business records.
- To improve our catalogue, website performance and customer experience using aggregated analytics.
- To comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection, payment and other legal obligations.
Where information is required to complete an order, failure to provide it may prevent us from accepting payment or arranging delivery.
4. Who receives your data
We disclose only what is reasonably necessary to service providers acting for us, including DOKU and participating payment institutions, couriers such as Ninja Van, website/database hosting providers, communications providers, analytics providers and professional advisers. We may also disclose data where required by law, a court, regulator, payment network or fraud investigation.
Some providers may process data outside Malaysia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use providers with appropriate security and contractual safeguards.
