Description

The revelation of the Qur’an lasted 23 long years. It is inconceivable that any book written by a mortal-being in 23 years, can be a book of Divine truths, metaphysics, religious beliefs and worship, prayer law and morality, a book fully describing the other life, a book of psychology, sociology, epistemology and history and a book containing scientific facts and the principles of a happy life, does not have any contradictory points. Whereas, the Qur’an openly declares that it has no contradictions at all, and therefore is a Divine Book. When we study the Qur’an, even superficially from the viewpoint of its wordings, style and meaning, we will certainly conclude that it is completely different from all the other books in the world. So, in rank and worth, it is neither below any of them – even Satan cannot claim this, nor does he conceive of it, nor is above them. Since it is above all of them, it must be the Word of God. The Qur’an which he brought, has challenged all mankind with all their literary geniuses and scientists, from the first day of its revelation the Last Day, to produce alike of it or even a single chapter of it. The Qur’an‘s viewpoint of life and the world is completely different from the modern one. According to the Qur’an, the world is a Guest House. Man is guest with many duties, who will stay here for a short time only, and he is charged with preparing all the necessities for eternal life. He will give priority to the most urgent and important duties of his. Therefore, whatever is designed and used mostly for worldly purpose, will have very little share in servant-hood and to the worship of God – which is founded upon love of truth and other worldliness, and therefore it will have a place in the Qur’an according to its merit.

A new book is a book previously not circulated to a buyer. Although a new book is typically free of any faults or defects, “new” is not actually a description of condition as a new book may possibly display shelf wear from the shop or distributor supplying it or printing errors or defects from publishing that were not detected. The actual specifics of a new book may be hard for a bookseller to state or predict as they may be shipping one of any number of copies of the title to fill the order. This, as opposed to As New which describes a used book that is determined to be free of any faults or wear.
