This book is intended to serve the purpose of using it as a Guide to the Qur’an to find topic-wise discussion and analysis. Allah has made the Qur’an binding (fard) upon Muslims. The Qur’an is also a Reminder (dhikr) for them and they will be questioned on it. It is very essential to be aware of the duties upon Muslims mentioned in it and equip themselves for discharging those duties so that they may have confidence when they will face the questions which will be put to them on the Day of Judgment. A student who hopes to pass his examination knows that he needs to go through his prescribed text carefully. Allah has made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember from it, asking Muslims whether anyone will take heed? The author hopes that this book will create interest in the reader to climb some steps towards that lofty goal. In order to have full authenticity of the Qur’an, there have been profuse use of the English transliteration of the Arabic text in the Qur’an, with reference to the Surah no. and Ayat (verse) no. together throughout the book. The ultimate purpose of the book is to read and study the texts in the Qur’an and make clear one’s own understanding of his duties to Allah and the people around him. The topics in this Guide have been arranged in alphabetical order making it user friendly.
